What is Student Transportation Outsourcing?
This is where the transportation provider and school work together and develops bus route(s) to best meet the transportation need. The total price is then computed based upon the daily route miles, daily operations cost of the bus and the number of days in the school year. This amount is divided by the number of months in the school year and then the school is billed monthly per bus. The base cost is based primarily on route miles. This figure can vary based upon the transportation requirement. This option usually would require a multi-year commitment. There is normally a down payment to start the service.

All employees receive comprehensive training along with being subject to pre-employment, random, post-accident drug screenings, along with physical examinations and annual background and motor vehicle records checks.

All charges can be an extension of the schools tuition or the customers can deal directly with us. We will work with you to custom-tailor a plan that is best suited to your needs.
Flexibility
If you already own buses and you want us to manage them only, we offer bus operator training and management, assistance in starting up your own independent program or full outsourced transportation services. For our New York State customers we offer 19-A Certified Examiner, (CE) and School Bus Driver Instructor (SBDI) freelance services. Legacy allows the flexibility for you to pick and choose from the services we provide to best provide for your student transportation services needs.
